Audience response technology has proven itself again and again in classrooms, training rooms and board rooms for years. But with the expansion of remote learning, many instructors have been challenged by an inability to assess and respond to their students’ learning in real time.

Death is on their minds!” It’s a somewhat hysterical reflection of the plot, in which a lone juror in a murder trial attempts to sway his fellow panelists to change their votes and avoid a miscarriage of justice.

Data from the National Women’s Law Center shows that any workplace is in danger of experiencing sexual harassment. However, those that have traditionally excluded women – such as the building trades and medical/technical professions – are the worst. In addition, women in low-wage professions like agriculture and food service are also especially susceptible.
The #MeToo movement and the resulting outpouring of sexual harassment allegations against those in business, entertainment and government has opened eyes to an issue that for many men lurked in the shadows, but for a large swath of female workers was an everyday nightmare.
Bullying is and has been an unfortunately reality of the school environment. Wherever children gather, it’s likely that one person or a group is displaying unwanted aggression against someone else.
Even in the smallest municipalities, the meetings of a governing body can sometimes feel like controlled chaos. Along with motions, proposed changes, public commentary and the final vote, it’s often challenging for a harried clerk to keep everything in order and – most importantly – legal.
