What is an Audience Response System?
An Audience Response System is a tool that allows trainers and event facilitators to collect live feedback from a group or an audience. Participants use Keypads, as shown above, to respond to interactive questions created and displayed by a presenter. By pressing a button on a keypad, a participant “sends” their response to the ARS System. The responses are collected in real time and displayed on screen through a graph which denotes how many participants chose each of the possible answer choices. Audience Response systems are used to stimulate event interactivity, increase participant content retention, and facilitate anonymous opinion polling.
