While that may be true for most people, if you’re a member of a conference committee or a subcommittee charged with creating laws, you need to pay close attention to how those laws are made.
As part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, all non-profit hospitals must conduct a community health assessment (CHA) every three years. The formal study of organizational culture is relatively young, dating back only to the 1950s. Even providing an organizational culture definition—that is, defining what you mean when talking about organizational culture—can be tricky. Organizational culture isn’t the same as organizational structure. Rather, it’s the attitude that holds together the structure, that lubricates the gears and, ideally, enables processes to occur without friction.
